Worthy of a AS invite?

Hi,
I was accepted to MSU about 2 months ago. I have a 3.89 UW GPA (unknown weighted) and 26 ACT. Is that worthy of an invite to the academic scholars program? If so, when do they usually send the invites? Thanks.

My friend with a 28 act got the invite a few weeks after he was admitted in the fall.

Not automatically. You should call/email them(the Honors College), to confirm nothing is in the mail. Then, when they tell you you are either rejected/whatever, they'll say that you can send an appeal and 7th semester grades to get in. Do those and they'll probably give you it.

i did an appeal for honors college, not just AS, and got rejected.

Awesome sauce (love your screen name, btw), I take it you mean ADS (the Alumni Distinguished Scholarship) competition where top students from around the country (and world) are invited, in January/February to take a competitive super SAT-like exam for partial and total free ride scholarships and/or plumb professor-research opportunities... Your ACT may be a tad weak for an ADS invitation, but I'm not 100% certain of that. It's just that ADS is so competitive and sought after. As you probably know, there are a number of other merit scholarships that spin off ADS or that you may simply qualify for even w/o taking the test. Is that what you mean?

I'm not sure, but I think awesome sauce means academic scholars.
