Would being certified in a programming language through Codecademy look good on my app?

To preface this, being “certified” just means you’ve completed the course on codecademy. Also, I’m not just doing this for college apps, I like coding and I’ll do it regardless of if I put it on my app or not.

So basically 2 questions:

  1. Would codecademy “certification” be a good addition to my application (CS major)

  2. Should I mention that it’s a codecademy certification or should I just say “certified in language”? Or would that be lying?

  1. If you have space, you can list it, If you have more important things, you can leave it out.

  2. You should mention who did the certification.
