Would Changing My Major Help Me Get In Off of the Waitlist?

<p>I recently got waitlisted and I plan on appealing. I originally put undeclared as my major in the application so I was wondering if changing my major to a major that they're trying to fill would help my chances. Also if anyone happens to know what the most poplular majors are or what majors are least popular and they are looking to fill, that info would be greatly appreciated.</p>

<p>Also heres some of my academic info incase that helps:</p>

<p>Cumulative GPA (weighted): 3.86
SAT: 1870
ACT: 28
AP Tests: U.S. History- 4</p>

<p>No, it wouldn’t. UCSB doesn’t admit by major within the College of Letter & Science.</p>
