Would dropping a class affect my transfer admission?

Just like many, I'm waiting for the fall 2014 admission results.

The thing is that when I ended fall 2013 semester, I've already finished all my requirements and could've just taken a semester off. But I just registered for more classes since I would probably be bored. I'm taking 14 units right now and one of them is my english class. It is unrelated to my major. It was fun at first but towards the middle of the semester I just don't find the need to go anymore.

Would the W damage my chance of getting admitted to the UC's? Also if sent the decision and asked for the transcript, would 3 W's make them retract their decision?

Best answer would be to call the respective UC admissions office and get the answer straight from them. None of us here could give you a guaranteed answer. Besides, would you really want to risk your admission status at this point in the game?

Not really sure but they do ask you to report any dropped class as soon as possible.

But seriously " I just don’t find the need to go anymore." is not a good reason to drop the class. Just play it safe and complete the class. Unless you are struggling in the class and expect an F or D, then it would make sense to drop the class now.
