would going to Tulane undergrad hurt my chances of gettin into a top notch law school

in comparison to USC or NYU (the other schools i've narrowed it down to). Please help! Tulane gave me an $80,000 scholarship over the four years but im scared going there won't be considered as "prestigious" as NYU or USC

NYU and USC are not that prestigious either. They are basically peer institutions. Most law schools don’t seem to care where you go as long as your numbers are good. For instance, Harvard Law produces a list of schools their class is drawn from. I am willing to bet Tulane is on that list. If Tulane is the cheapest, and you don’t mind spending four years in New Orleans, go for it.

Don’t worry about the prestige. Go where you are happy. USC and NYU rank higher with USNWR but you can get a fine education at Tulane. For law school just be sure you have a stellar gpa and LSAT. And New Orleans is great. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Don’t forget that Tulane has an amazing law school, which provides for great pre-law programs. Tulane and many other law schools will know how eligible a candidate you are coming from a school with the pre-law opportunities Tulane has.
