Would I be able to get accepted in UCR?!?!?

HI
My GPA is 3.75 for sophmore+Junior year
freshman year is a 4.0
My sat score is 1220 which is very low and I am really concerning about this.
Since English is not my first language, I do bad on the reading and writing part
I got 380 on reading and 320 on writing 520 on math
I did over 40 hours of volunteering and involve in 3 clubs at school
MESA -Build stuff, need mathematic and engineering skills. Are having competition
Interact- talk about community services and we sign up for it
Best Buddies- (my volunteering hours came from here) we talk with disability students
Received many awards and a trophy
only 1 honor class taking right now during senior year
I didnt notice that honor add point till this year = =....so I didn't take any before
I just keep my grades with A and B
I am the top 9%at high school and i am eligible local context student in UCR's local area
so with all that, what is my chances of getting in to UCR or even other UC's??

thank you

I think you definitely have a good application. Your grades seem good, though your extracurriculars might need a bit more. I think the main disclaimer for you is your SAT score, being 1200. 1200/2400 is a bit low, but don’t worry, you can always retake the SAT and get a higher score! Check UCR’s website for their average SAT score acceptance among incoming freshmen and try to get around that. Good luck and I hope your make it to UCR!

The average SAT score for Riverside is 1720-ish. I’d recommend trying to take it again. You could also try the ACT and see if that is a bit easier for you to excel at.

In addition, I would mention the language difficulties you have experienced on your application, maybe even as a focus for a personal statement.
