Hi everyone,
I just got my ACT scores back. It was first time taking it, and I got a 32 composite, with 35 english, 33 math, 33 reading, and 27 in science. I’m happy with my score, but it was my first time taking it, and I think I can do a little bit better. Given my decently strong english, math, and reading scores, would I be better off just taking the SAT since it doesn’t include science? Or should I just focus on boosting my science? (as long as I keep my other scores the same and get science up to at least a 29 then I’m pretty my composite rounds up to a 33, correct me if I’m wrong though)
The reason I ask is because my top schools right now are Cal Poly SLO, UCSB, USC, TCU, Santa Clara, and Ohio State. I have a rather low GPA (3.5 UW 3.9 W) and I think that boosting my test scores would help me get a better chance at reach schools.
So: ACT again, or SAT? (Keep in mind I will have to take the new SAT, as they just changed it this year).
Thanks!
