My math book is a Calculus: Stewart 5th Edition. I know it's way out of date, but is it possible to just use that? Or should I get the new one?

Thanks!

first off, u don't even have the right author or the right book. The MATH 20B book is by Rogawski, not Stewart.

Well, there is a Stewart book for Calculus (I've used it myself for a community college Calc class), and personally, I think the stuff inside should be the same (content wise), but you would need someone with the Rogawski book to do the problems.

Both Math 20a and Math 20b require the same book: Calculus early tanscendentals (Jon Rogawski total 17 chapters) . Math 20b starts from chapter 5 to 10 for sure. Math 20a starts from Chapter 1-4. Order Calculus early tanscendentals bundle to get discount price $106.

Student Solution Manual gives you the solutions for odd numbers. It helps in some way when your TA gives you even number homework.
