The UCSD bookstore says that the Calculus Early Transcendentals (text+questionnaire) and the Calculus Early Transcendentals Bundle (full Text+sv Soln Ma.+mv Soln Man) are required for this class but they seem the same except one has more stuff in them... do I need to buy them both are just one of them?

Oh and same thing for Chem 6A with the Chemical Principles, 4 Edition and the Chemical Principles Bundle (text+soln. Man.+ucsd Flyer), 4 Edition.

For Math 20 A,B,C: The Early Transcendentals book covers A, B, and C. The Single Variable book covers A and B, and the Multi Variable book covers C. So if you plan on taking the whole series, buy the early transcendentals book.

And the solution manuals are optional whilst the book is required. So you only need to choose one of those two options.

Both Math 20a and Math 20b require the same book: Calculus early tanscendentals (Jon Rogawski) . Math 20b starts from chapter 5 to 10 for sure. Guess Math 20a starts from Chapter 1-4. Buy Calculus early tanscendentals bundle.

Signle Variable Calculus (total 12 chapters) and Calculus early tanscendentals (total 17 chapters) are slightly different in some chapters. If you don't have the right book, you may do wrong homework. For example, in Single Variable, Chapter 7 is the exponential Function, but in Calculus early tanscendentals, Chapter 7 is the techniques of integration.

Student Solution Manual gives you the solutions for odd numbers. It helps in some way when your TA gives you even number homework.
