I'm currently a student at NYU but I'm hoping to transfer to a University in Canada next year. I'm looking at U of Toronto, Queens and Mcgill for the most part. The problem is I don't think that my GPA is up to par with the requirements, most of them ask for a minimum GPA of 3.0 or 3.2 but my cumulative GPA is 2.922.

The thing is though I was in NYU's LSP program and I was only offered the abroad campus's for Freshman year and you have to take 6 credits a semester in a foreign language. Basically I'm terrible at languages but figured it would be no big deal for just one year at the time but now that I'm transferring my C's in French really brought me down. If I just factor in the three core subjects that every LSPer does my GPA is 3.4 mostly A's and B's and my highschool IB grades are above the requirements for all those Universities (36 IB score).

I emailed them all and they just basically send me back a copy pasted answer from their website. Only Toronto actually got back to me and said that it wasn't a big deal if my other grades were good. Do you guys think that I would be considered for admission at all?
