Oh my, you guys made me laugh. cnmpsyd, I am taking the SAT again in October, but I’m not taking classes to raise up my score. I don’t have money for tutoring so i’m using the SAT prep videos on Khanacademy.com. So far, that’s helping me. Also, I’m a really bad test taker when it comes to standardized tests. If my math teacher gave me a test of the whole book, I would get an A or a B off the bat.
I’m a pretty well rounded student. I have 150+ community hours, I’ve taken dance classes out of school for my entire highschool career, babysitting and I have a job. If that helps haha.
I just hope that they look past my “death sentencing” scores and see how much I have accomplished in so little time. I worked hard to get myself up to AP Physics. While the rest of my class are taking AP Cal, I was the only one taking Algebra 2 while taking physics last year and I still passed.
Hopefully they will look at my essay and be wow-ed. Mine is so different. Its written metaphoracly, the first like is a big hook, and I explained my hardships that i had to over come to be atleast close to the top of my class.
Thanks so much for your guys replies! :D

Natty, I wish you the best of luck:) I hope all of us get it…well, almost all. Never underestimate the power an essay can do. It might just be that factor that pulls you into the acceptance pile.

Hi-
Glad to see that you are taking my
constructive criticism
in a positive manner;
One point that may help you
with the math portion of the SAT;
GOOGLE
TI 84 programs for SAT
several web sites list programs that
you can enter into your TI 84 which
may assist you with the math portion
and the programs are 100 % ethical !

Natty I had a few of you this weekend (couldnt resist for those who get it)
Anyways I’m going to have to side with cnmpsyd on this one. I’m assuming your in state which helps exponentially, but ucf is definately putting more and more weight on your scores. In florida UF actually puts the most weight on the written part for those who care.

Anyways since your tight on money definately borrow somebodies graphing calculator(ti-84) and do what cnmpsyd says. That program is legal and speeds up your math skills which is key in a timed test. Also assuming you have a computer use the collegeboard website to take practie tests for free. Finally i’d choose which one of the two subjects (math or reading) that your better at and focus on it. I’m bad at math and only got a 590 but used my reading practice to boost from a 640 to a 730

Lastly good luck and pray!

lol sifanatic… that is the first thing i thought when i read the name

lol i am not alone then. immediately following the word Bro came to mind

I immediately think of the all wonderful website, ‘my life is bro.’ I cannot deny out funny I find it lol.

My life is bro is probably the most pointless and time consuming website ever invented. I love it lol

Hahahah reminds me of my dad… He has a book “my dad is a bro” and it has pictures of dads doing ridiculous things lol

Immediately after this, I went on the website, and realized something. The individuals who send in a post are probably 34 year old men, living in their parents basement. That’s sad…in a really funny way, lol.
