I applied for the Summer 2009 term. I have a 3.053 unweighted and a 3.289 weighted and got a 1160/1700 on SAT which I only got to take once. I have taken all honors since freshmen year and currently have 2 AP classes. i am suppose to be a junior but got moved up to a senior in late January. Since I got moved up late I applied for college later then most people. Do you think I have a chance to get in because UCF is my #1 choice. If you got in do you mind sharing your GPA/SAT with me so I can compare them. Thanks.

I got in around December, had applied in October.. so things might have changed since then because of rolling admissions, but my stats are:
Unweighted GPA : 3.0
Weighted GPA: 3.5
ACT: 29
SAT: 1280

One of my friends applied with a 4.2 GPA, but lower test scores and only got accepted for Summer B around the same time as me.

I can't say if they'd accept you or not, but I'd sign up for the May SAT to try to bring that score up and you'd have a better chance.

Good luck to you, though. (:

I can’t really say if they would accept you either, your stats are better than mine except I took seven AP classes. They usually don’t put a lot of weight or interest in honors classes, more in AP…

I’ve taken 5 AP classes. We don’t have any honors ones.
I made a 29 on my ACT. GPA: 3.48

But tons of community service and extracurricular activities.
And a pretty bangin’ essay. :)

I think you have pretty good stats, other than your GPA.
Mine is low too, I didn’t even think I’d get in.

Hoping you do though! Best of luck to you! :)

I got deferred as of yesterday. But i think I might just go to FIU down in Miami. If worst comes to worst i’ll just transfer over lol. Thanks though.
