I am currently ending my junior year. I have a 3.6 gpa currently but I am expecting it to rise significantly in my senior year since my nine-week gpa could be a 4.5.
I took the SATs once and I am taking them again in a month along with the ACT. I was so unprepared the first time. My first scores were:
420-math
480-cr
530-writing
I am planning on majoring in English. I already have great recommendations from my teachers and my mother is a penn state alumni. Also, I have published my own novel and in the process of writing a second.
I am visiting/going to apply to PSU Main Campus, OSU, Ohio University, Kent State University, Fairmont State University, Westminster University, Mercyhurst University, Juniata College, Rosemont College, and Robbert Morris University. I am just looking for a college or university that has a great English program. Penn State University has always been a dream of mine and with my family, it's Main Campus or nothing. So, I am really hoping that I can get into there but what are my chances? Also, if you know any other colleges with great English programs, your input would be greatly appreciated.

I recommend you read this thread about Penn State admissions: <a href=“I have no idea. Please help. - College Search & Selection - College Confidential Forums”>I have no idea. Please help. - College Search & Selection - College Confidential Forums; Your scores are not anywhere close to what you need.
