is there any chance i might get in?is there still time to apply?please tell me as soon as possible !

No Binghamton, No Stony Brook, No Geneseo…you will %100 get in everywhere else.

No to Binghamton. No to Stony Brook. Plattsburgh is a match (but not a guarantee for Nursing).

^Look at the HS requirements needed for Nursing

HS Requirements for SUNY Plattsburgh Nursing Program:

HS Math----three units of high school Math (including Math 11, Sequential Math 3 or Intermediate Algebra, or Math A and B)

HS Science—three units of high school Science (including general or earth science, biology, and chemistry)

HS Foreign Language–three sequential units of high school Foreign Language

If you’ve met the above HS requirements, it’s worth applying to Plattsburgh.

Good luck

^Here’s the info about the SUNY Farmingdale Nursing program. Read through it and take note of the HS requirements and typical GPA of admitted students into the nursing program

Does Stony Brook even offer nursing (BSN)? You might do a program search at suny.edu…the schools I came up with that seem possible are Brockport, Plattsburgh, and Farmingdale. UB and Binghamton are quite a bit more competitive, especially for nursing, which isn’t something you’re automatically accepted into. You would typically have to complete 2 years of pre-reqs and then apply to the program in order to proceed. Here are the average admission stats for the SUNY schools:

okay i will look into these thanks oh i wanted to do the program for nursing thats staight out of high schol (4 year)thst BS right?isnt bsn after BS?

Nursing is Stony Brook’s most competitive program in terms of admissions percentage, but because the BSN is an upper-division program, it’s not listed on the regular freshman SUNY app. It’s a direct application program that requires at least 57 college credits. Full details are on our site.

Nursing is an incredibly hard field to get into–I would check carefully about the different entrance requirements and your likelihood of getting into each program. For general studies, you might be okay, though.
