Applying to College Common and Coalition Application

<p>Let's say I pick an Ivy school to which I'll apply (Harvard, for example). And on the common app, I decide to write an essay on "topic of your choice".</p>

<p>and I also decide to apply to a (STATE) school, that has its own application (and not the common app). If one of the essays for school included "topic of your choice", would I be able to submit the common app "topic of your choice" too, or would it show up as an essay that's plagiarized?</p>

<p>You should be able to use your essay on several applications.</p>

<p>it isn’t plagiarism because you are still the original author. plagiarism is when you use someone else’s ideas and words without crediting him/her properly</p>
