Would it be weird to send this as part of a supplement? Counterfeit Money...

So I'm heavily involved with Numismatics (coins and paper currency) and for one lecture I gave at my coin club I had a little quiz for the kids.

Basically I gave them two bank notes from Saudi Arabia, one of them real and one of them was counterfeit. Along with that I had a folded over sheet of paper that they could check the answer (which was real and which was counterfeit) against. The paper also had diagnostics on how one could tell that the counterfeit was a counterfeit, and why the geniune note was real. Basically outlining the security features and how they do it.

I have a few of these sets left over, would it be weird to send one to my ED school as an example of what I do for coin club lecutres? I personally think they could have some fun with it...

Other peoples’ opinions may differ on this, but I would think that sending that is a little too gimmicky. Your interest in numismatics is extremely interesting and unusual; definitely go all out in presenting it in your application. But I don’t think it’s all that necessary to send anything extra in.

I think it sounds creative and fun too. However i would take into consideration which school it is that you’re sending it to. If it’s a school like NYU (very lighthearted and liberal) go for it! If we’re talking about schools like BC or Georgetown, then maybe it’s a bad idea.
