Would just two history tests look bad?

Hi all,
I’m looking at very selective (including ivy) schools, and definetly the two subject tests I would feel most confident in would be world and us history. Would say upenn look down on just submitting us and world history? I read somewhere they want one science/math and one social studies.

It depends on the college. Certainly a strong test in both areas is impressive. What about at least trying Lit instead of one of the histories? My kids were big readers and high scorers on the CR section with almost no prep, and also did very well on Lit with minimal prep. You don’t have to have read the works (no id by author).

Be sure the tests you want are offered on the day you choose. Sometimes all subject tests are not offered in all dates.

They are offered, I am taking lit but since I never took AP English, I’m not too confident. I’m mostly looking at top liberal arts/ just general top schools (brown, upenn duke etc). One other question if I do take math and bomb will colleges see it or is there some way to hide it? I’m submitting the ACT for my main test if that helps.

I think that it might depend a bit on your major. If you were a STEM major picking entirely non-STEM subject tests might look odd. However, I am guessing that you probably are not a STEM major based on your subject test choices.
