World History

Ok, so I'm signed up for US History and Literature. I have room for a third subject test.

I took the official practice world history in my spare time and got a 760.

Should I add world history to my list of SAT II's I'm taking? That would make 2 history (world and American) and literature. I'm only really good at history and english so I don't have any other options.

My question is would it be advantageous to take US History and Litertaure and score good on both or take World History, US History, and Literature and score good on all 3.

i just signed up for World History and Lit.

Is Literature really that hard ?

Champ55: Taking two history subject tests, from what I've heard, is pretty much useless. It'd look better if you took, say a math or a science subject test. but if you're only good at history and english.. I'd say just stick with the two you just signed up for ... unless you are applying to harvard and yale which require 2 SAT II's.

Groenveld9: Lit is notorious for being hard ^^

nooooooo....

on the collegeboard site i had to quickly choose 2 subjects and so with the obvious choice of WH i chose Lit.
I am pretty good with writing stuff and reading and I got all the sample questions right on the site...
how can I best prepare for the test?
thanks

i have heard that literature is hard to prepare for...
how did you do on the CR section of the SAT I?
lit is basically similar to the CR section, except harder.
maybe grab a test prep book and familiarize yourself with the poetry lit terms etc would help the most! sorry i have not taken the lit test myself but just heard from my friends.. good luck!!

ok thanks for the info !
I am busy with taking my SAT Prep courses right now and I will take the SAT's on May 5,, SAT II's are on June 2 or something.

From what i heard is that you can hardly learn for Lit, that is is just your basic(advanced actually) knowledge of literature and all it's components etc etc etc.
I am thinking of buying such a book or borrowing one.
thanks!
