I just took my first SAT II test in June. It was the world history one and i got a 770. I thought it was good at first, but then i hear about all these people getting perfect 800s, so would my score be good enough for top schools? (perhaps even ivies??)

Anything 750+ is excellent for any school (including Ivies)—with the possible exception of Math II for Caltech/MIT (where an 800 may be required to be competitive).

ok thats a great help. Thank you so much. I just keep hearing about all these super geniuses that get perfects on all their SATs and SAT IIs

I’ve got 640 for Maths II and 680 for chemisty.
It is bad or what?
Should i retake?

I really think it depends on where you want to go to school.
I have heard that lots of people do well on the Math II SAT test so certain colleges would probably be looking for a 700+ at least
