Would sending SAT subject tests be worth the price?

When I took the SAT last March, I sent 2 of my free score reports to Berkeley and Stanford. I just received my SAT II scores today, and am pretty pleased (800 Math 2, 780 Literature), but since those colleges already have my SAT scores, I don't know if I want to pay for another score report to send the subject tests. Even though the UC system and Stanford are SAT subject test optional, does submitting them still boost one's application? Or would I just be wasting money?

Subject tests usually help (if scored as high as you did), especially at competitive schools like Berkeley and Stanford

Check the list on the link below to see if you should submit SAT2 scores:

For Stanford, you should. It is highly recommended (not quite optional) and 95% of accepted students submitted SAT2.

Thank you so much for the answers! I will definitely be sending the scores. It’s a shame that everything in this process costs so much, though. I feel like I’m going to rack up a thousand plus dollars in fees just applying to colleges, much less actually attending…
