Would Sociology qualify me for these jobs?

I want a major that would qualify me for all 6 of these occupations:

  1. Paralegal
  2. Police Officer
  3. Social Worker
  4. Journalist
  5. High School Teacher
  6. Office Manager

Or is there another Major that would be better for me such as Political Science?

Not one major would be able to allow you to do all these jobs but here’s the majors for each:

  1. Associates/Bachelors degree in Paralegal Studies or any other degree you just need a certificate after an associates degree
  2. Any bachelors sometimes criminal justice plus a 48 week police school/program
  3. Bachelors in social work plus a certificate to become a social worker
  4. A associates or bachelors degree in English, communications or journalism
  5. Masters degree in education
  6. Bachelors in business most are business administration majors
    I personally think political science is a bad choice but that’s my opinion it’s a very closed major

A sociology major could lead you in the direction of some of those occupations but you would need more specific additional training in addition to the sociology major.
