For RD btdubs

Low reach just because of the ~16% acceptance rate. Class rigor is good and SAT 1 looks good. You might want to retake the Math 2 though as it seems low. Although WashU doesn’t require subject tests.

Demonstrated interest helps. Request an interview, keep in touch with your regional representative, visit the campus, etc.

Are you thinking of some type of engineering for a major?

@Hamurtle Probably not. Would that affect my chances?

It shouldn’t but your ECs are more related to Engineering.

Your standardized scores are way above the school means, class schedule has rigor, you are top 5 in class, and you have an academic passion and play two sports and have substantial community service. Plus you worked waiting tables. Unless your rec letters are underwhelming or this year’s applicants are way more credentialed than typical, Id say your file has a great chance of success.

@Hamurtle @Dean Moriarty I just realized I am a little too late to schedule an interview… would this dramatically hurt me as well?

An interview isn’t absolutely necessary but you will need to demonstrate interest.
