I was accepted to UC Berkeley with a 3.8 GPA (weighted) for my 3 and 1/2 years in high school. My dad says that if my GPA drops at all, Berkeley will rescind my offer. I have also heard that for any UC the requirement is just a 3.0. Who's right?

dont go below a 3.5

they want you to maintain your academic standing. The number is different for every student… if one was accepted with a 3.0, then a 2.8 may not get them rescinded. You however, with a 2.8 would be rescinded… as you proably know.

your letter of conditional acceptance lists the criteria under which they could rescind you, from what I’ve been told. It says that if your gpa falls below a 3.0 unweighted you could be rescinded.
