For one of my essays, I talk about the volunteer work I did at a center for the disabled. The center publishes a magazine, and one of the magazine's covers was a picture of me and one of the kids (that I mention a lot in my essay) holding hands. Do you think it'd be okay to send in a copy of the magazine, or is that too cheesy and the adcoms will just think it's weird?

I think this would be rather cheesy, imho. But then again, actions often speak louder than words, so it could be something that you could add. It might be a bit over the top, though

it does seem rather superfluous, I agree. but what harm can it do?? It’s just a picture, and they don’t have to read anything additional, right?
