Would this look bad?

So, I'm in Spanish IIIH right now, I reeaaally don't want to take Span. 4 next year...so, if I start with a totally new language, like Latin or French, in my senior year (as in, next year), do you think it'll screw me over not taking the same language? I mean....it's still technically 4 years.

I'm going into the life sciences area...so idk how much my foreign language will matter...

colleges usually want to see the same language taken from what i've heard but if it's bringing your gpa down and you've already done the 3 years you might be better off not taking it as long as you replace it with an academic (non elective) course like another science or something (that's what i did after finishing spanish 3 soph year)

but will it hurt the fact that I stopped at a pretty low level?

it is bringing my GPA down...which I think will show on my junior year transcript. I just rather start something new...

any more thoughts?
