On Wednesdays next spring I have Physics Lab from 9:00 to 11:45 AM , Physics Lecture from 3:00 to 4:15 PM and Organic Chemistry Lab from 6:00 to 9:30 PM. Class on Thursday doesn't start until Noon. My schedule for next spring is really weird in the fact I only have 1 class on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. No class on Fridays but a heavy day (2 labs and 1 lecture) on Wednesday.

So for those who have done it or in general would you not recommend taking two labs in one day? The good thing is I have heard from pretty much everybody that the ochem labs at my campus never take more than 2 hours tops. So there is a very high chance that I will get out at around 8 pm consistently. I also have breaks in between I guess. I can switch the labs around so that one is on Tuesday and another on Wednesday. Thanks for any help.

If you don’t have to write lab reports for both labs, then i’d say go for it. Otherwise, it’d be a real pain to try to finish two lab reports the day before.

I have physics and orgo lab on the same day too. For us, orgo always lasts the entire period, while physics-- most people finish after an hour. Physics generally isn’t bad.

I’m taking two labs in a day next semester (Nutrition and Microbiology). I have them spread out a few hours apart so I have some “breathing room” to study, relax, etc.

The only major downside is that it can make a heck of a long day if both of them consume their entire allotted periods, but if anything, knocking out two labs at once gives the rest of your week more flexibility (at least in my case).

I’m taking two labs in one day next semester. It’s not too bad as long as they’re not back to back and of there’s not a whole lot else going on in your day.

The break is crucial because you need time to walk around and catch up wit stuff in between. The way you have it now is great. I won’t lie and say the classes are guaranteed to be easy cuz i have no idea but the actual set -up you have is very good.

Depends on the lab. I was thinking about doing a statistics lab and a geology lab on the same day but that would be too much. Plus my days are pretty full Mon-Fri with school and work.
