I took the SAT in October, November and December this year and most likely will also be taking January’s. My dad thought it important to all the final four before the current test expires, and I’ve done so.
In Oct, I got a 740M, 660CR, 690W, 9.
November: 730M, 670CR, 720W, 9.
This December, I believe I knocked CR and Writing out the park given the answers on the Forum. -1 on CR and -1 on Writing. However, I think I missed 4-5 on Math, putting me in the 690-700 range. Obviously the forum can be wrong, so I could have missed a ton more CR and Writing.
Should I keep this test if I will have to take it a 4th time and will have a lackluster math score but a prospectively good reading/writing score?
I’m international and I cancelled both the October and the November tests. I’m a junior so I have Dec. and Jan. scores left.
I will not cancel this time because I’m probably going to get over a 2250… but who knows. I could have screwed up more CR problems. I really want to keep this 2310! Hopefully I don’t mess up more than this.
I have to say, it is shocking to me how taking these tests has become almost an occupation for some students. Is it true that some students are taking them pretty much monthly and canceling the scores? I guess if you start that in 8th grade, by junior year you should be nailing 800s!
