I'm 17 and a junior. The girlfriend has crazy parents who never let me see/talk to her because I'm not catholic and not Spanish. It wasn't always that bad, but it's gotten much worse to the point where we're going to have to start sneaking around and her phone is gone & she has no internet access until I'm out of the picture.

Anyway, I don't want to play this game. I decided to break up with her...doing what her parents want. The problem? I can't contact this girl to break up with her. GOTTA LOVE OVERPROTECTIVE SPANISH CATHOLIC FASCIST RACIST RELIGIONIST IGNORANT STRUGGLING-WITH-ASSIMILATION PARENTS AMIRITE??? Anyway, I've told all her friends and my friends, so the girlfriend herself is pretty much the only one who doesn't know.

So I'm talking to my gf's friend and we're going to the movies tomorrow. If we do something, then would you consider it cheating? Or would you consider me single and her not being notified as of yet? I mean, should I have to wait a week and a half till I see her in school to "officially" be single because I can't contact her, despite my best efforts?

If it matters, the gf has a 2.7 UW GPA and a 150 PSAT LOL.
The friend is a senior, size 34D.

F*** that dumb 2.7 GPA whoring fascist Spanish chick. Just kidding, it’s not considered cheating but, i’d suggest not doing it till’ you officially break up with the girl. Have you tried facebook my young jedi? (Watched star wars on spike on Christmas. Twas’ the S****)

Go to her house and then when the parents answer the door, tell them you’re breaking up with their daughter. Run like hell. Then go to the movies tomorrow with her friend and do whatever you want. :)

I’ve told all her friends (albeit she only has like 4) and none of them have talked to her since school got out. This girl is literally isolated from the outside world right now. If I didn’t live in Florida, I’m sure her parents would chain her to the wall in the basement.

I’m not going to weigh in on whether what you’re doing is cheating, but what you’re doing isn’t treating her very well. I understand you can’t really contact her, but you should at least have the decency to break up with her before you start going out with someone else. Just think of it from her point of view. It would be pretty crappy to find out that you were broken up with because your ex went on a date with someone else.

I knew you lived in Florida when you said ‘Spanish and Catholic’ LOL.

Anyway, the only thing you’re doing wrong is dating one of her friends, in my opinion. Date someone she doesn’t know; making her lose a boyfriend and a friend at once kinda sucks…

I love how you compare her friend’s cup size to your girlfriend’s intelligence, haha.
Obviously that tells us who you like better
What sandrock said makes sense.

I called child protective services and filed a report for bad stuff (but true stuff). I assume that’s an even more official breakup than facebook official. I went to the movies, but kept it in my pants.
