But I guess I’d pick power. I’m not power hungry but I do enjoy being in charge, although my method of leadership is “as long as you’re not hurting anyone do what you want.”

Money just doesn’t appeal to me that much. I always joke to my friends “some men just wanna watch thr world burn.”

SSHHHOOOOOTT, i’ll take money. Money will most likely always be around as a means of trading, so it’s not like it’s going to disappear. After I’m gone, my children AND my grandchildren’s children will be set. That’s perfection/

Meanwhile, when people are in power it always seems to me like people are out to kill them/ get them out of power. I would much rather live without that…

Money.
I have no real interest in political power, and money would allow me to lead a comfortable lifestyle and take care of struggling family members. I’d love to make enough to be able to afford things like travel, donating to charity, private schools and good colleges for my children, etc.

Power…Money is just something humans give a value. In a time of crisis would you rather have a gun or $500? Anyway power would be more fun than money (with a chance to get in the history books ;))

Money feels more worthless than it sounds. I guess I would like power, though, even though I don’t consider myself a power-hungry person. I do have some strong opinions, so I can’t say that I wouldn’t mind being able to see them have an influence on society. For the greater good, of course. :)

I want to have money and marry someone with power! lol I see the perks of both! Power isn’t really for me though, I don’t really care about influencing other people, I just want to have the means to not worry about finances and be able to afford the things that make my life fun (like vacations, artistic projects, music, and collecting a library and various cooking and outdoor ware lol)

Everyone here should watch House of Cards with Netflix. Kevin Spacey gives a monologue in one of the episodes about a guy who chooses money over power, “a mistake so many in this town [D.C.] often make.”

So I would disagree. Senators are making 6 figures, but they have some serious power. Same with the president. He’s making, what is it, $400,000? He’s the most powerful man in the free world.

With money come temptations, and the posibilty to lose self control.
If it is a decision between more money and no self control, and less money but the power over myself… I’d choose the latter…

I srsly doubt you are talking to me… as it seemed by ur “^^”… But anyway, yes he doesn’t. he’s got it both ways! control over the World and money… but he should take care of that “control over himself” thing… most of them eventually lose that…

Would you have money or power? interesting statement because they are the same thing. If you have money you have the ability to buy power and influence. If you have power, it is because you have money. In other words Money= Power Power=Money
