just picture yourself deciding between colleges for a moment...
would you rather attend an amazingly PRESTIGIOUS college that will offer you a lifetime of PRIDE (your own) and ADMIRATION (from others), or would you choose the pretty good college that would very likely and quickly help get you a VERY VERY VERY high-paying job.

once again the choices are:
A) the most pretigious college, where only the best of the best can think of getting in----guaranteed lifetime of admiration from your peers
B) a pretty good college that will get you a job that will make you RICH RICH RICH $$$$$$

so... MONEY or PRESTIGE?

sorry for this annoying and very shallow topic, but i just have to know what people would choose out. =P

(and hopefully you all will pick neither of the above in real life, but instead choose the college that you will be the happiest at.)

Meh. Another question about the importance of money. I'd generally say I would do what I want in life if I'm pretty sure I can live off the money it supplies me (i.e., not become a beggar).

hey, thanks for replying! yeah. money is good. but remember, the pretigious college will not leave you penniless after graduation. it's just that choice B would lead you to significantly more money. =)

I would chose Money. Pride doesn't matter to me, because pride does not correlate with my happiness at a school. Also, if I liked both schools equally, I would go the school that costs me less.

I choose MONEY!
I could care less about attending a prestigious university. As long as I get a diploma, and make lots of $$$, I really wouldn't care where I would attend.
