would you rather...

my top choices...
NYU
Cal with regents
UCLA
BU with nice financial aid
Boston College

other schools I've heard from are
UCSB
Vassar
Northeastern

and more to hear from still
But at this point, I'm curious what school other people would choose to attend!
And if you have a reason as to why, your input is appreciated :) thanks!

I would go with the school with the most FA :)

Yeah, that’s nowhere near enough information.

Who are you? What do you want out of college? What are your goals? Financial situation? I mean, I would attend Berkeley or NYU, but it’s because I’m a math major.

I don’t think the same applies to you.

youve alrdy posted the same thread under college selection

What they said

Although I’d go to Cal or UCLA if all other things were equal. To decide I’d probably see which has the stronger academic program for what I want. If every single thing really was equal though I’d just flip a coin.

no need for attitude…
not really asking for advice, I’m just curious what school other people would choose. Everyone is different, so given my situation, what school fits you?

and 000ace000…what’s your point?

If you are in-state, UCLA. If you are out-of-state, then the school you like the best w/the best financial aid.

Actually what does “with regents mean”?

Anyway, my choices are because UCLA and Cal are both great schools, in great locations. I think I might actually lean toward UCLA simply because it doesn’t strike me as very politically-charged like Berkeley (or at least, the town of Berkeley).

@DC- The regents scholarship is given to a very small percent of applicants; benefits are “prestige” and some financial aid, but in my case, I was given a great deal of aid because of it, so it’s hard to pass up! :)

Cal w/ regents. Definitely.

Cal, you get to be close to San Francisco

UCLA 10char

Cal with Regents? And you’re still asking?

UCLA hands down

UCLA is in Westwood. 'Nuff said.

[Go There]
