Would you retake a 2390?

Anyone else notice that there are two usernames “Math112358” and “112358?” Yay for Fibonacci sequence. :D

@risubu, on the other hand, another essay topic could be, “Why I spent an extra 4 hours of my life to get from a 2390 to a 2400.”

Or “how variance rooked me out of another $50.”

Hell no. If i ever got a 2390 I’d be very happy. Don’t retake it, not worth it.

I can’t believe this is even up for debate.

Of course you have to retake it. That 10-point differential is not about whether colleges would look more favorably upon a perfect score or whether your classmates in college would give you kudos for having achieved the near-impossible.

It’s a matter of ego, pure and simple, knowing that you completely owned and dominated the SAT and did what only a privileged few can ever do. I mean, how could you live with yourself, thinking of the other smug bastards out there with 2400s boasting with despicably enviable swagger that they got a perfect score while you have to be content with keeping your mouth shut, because trust me, 2390 doesn’t have quite the same ring to it as 2400, does it?

Why do you have to retake it? Because for people like you, 2390 is still a failure. It’s like saying, “Oh, I almost reached the moon but fell short by only 10 feet!”

Your manhood that will define who you are for years to come is on the line here.

mmmmm never mention that you scored 2390 to any one not even your self, just act as if you got a 2400 :stuck_out_tongue: , believe me it works.
