Would your rank change a lot?

My s' school usually reports juniors' ranks at the end of junior year. Would your rank change a lot from junior to senior year in your experince? or would it stay pretty much the same?

at the end of junior year i was 18th, after getting straight A's thus far senior year i'm now 11th.... (out of 165). i guess it depends on what your rank is (the nearer you are to the top the harder it is to move up) and what you define as "a lot".

we dont rank. but i know mine would change a lot.

my senior grades were a huuuuge improvement over my junior grades..and a lot of my classmates' grades dropped from junior to senior year for whatever reason.

Mine went from 11 to 4 from first semester junior to first semester senior. But within the top 20, it literally takes .0001 to move up a spot because competition is so fierce.

Between 1st semester sophomore year and 1st semester junior year I moved from 3 to 2. But the GPA's are a lot closer there, so...

I don't know...in my school, rank REALLY depends on each year-the honors courses give such a bump that if you're aren't in all honors courses, you can't be in the top 10 or so. And due to strict grade requirements, many move in and out of honors/top 10%. It really depends on your school though

Well...my rank moved from 6th--->3rd due to a computer glitch. It got fixed though :/
