I just took my first Math IIC Official SAT test and scored a score of 660. I sort of ran out of time, mainly because I wasn't familiar with my calculator or used it BADLY.

After the test, I went back and did the ones I omitted and got wrong, and to my surprise, I knew how to do most of them (except 4). I took longer on the 4 problems but I figured out 2 of them by myself.

So... it seems like I know how to do these problems but I just need more time. So should I review or just keep taking tests? How do you guys know where your weakness are (content wise)? How can I improve pacing? Thanks.

I'm aiming for 800 by Oct... what should I do to get there?

Keep taking tests! If you know the stuff, don't bother reviewing. If you said you knew to solve the problems afterwards, maybe you need to focus on pacing yourself or thinking fast enough. These abilities are earned by practice. And get used to your calculator, for God's sake!

Okay, so I have only 1 Official Math test left and some on Barrons. Should I save the official one for later and practice on Barrons, PR, Kaplan, etc. first or what? Which brand has the most similar tests? I need to be able to pin point my weaknesses (because I know I have some).

I lack of any practice on Math IIc. Only one I have is the most spread one labeled 3YBC. can anyone help me?? what is that official math II c test you took??

there's only 30 or so problems, to be honest. they just switch the numbers and words around a little. Once you get to recognize them, the test'll be a breese

akati, Yes I'd say the Kaplan's book was pretty similar to the test I took on May 2007. I got around 730 on Kaplan's and scored 750 on the real.
Good luck!
