I'm so nervous now... but mine wouldn't come for a while since im in CA. I REALLY hope all are sent out, not just acceptances.

I've decided that tomorrow I'm going to go out to my mailbox, close my eyes, open the door, and just stick my hand in. If I don't feel a big envelope I'm just going to close it up and forget I ever checked. Hahaha.

I'm definitely expecting a rejection. sigh I thought I wouldn't be getting it for a while still! I live in VT, so I might not get it tomorrow anyway.

Ugh. I'm in MA. and a minority. and.. still nothing. I think my chances are dwindling. But I really hope they DID send out all the decisions, not just acceptances. I could really really use some closure on this matter. If I don't get in, it isn't the end of the world.. but.. I just want to hear SOMETHING. It is a bit discouraging that everyone who has heard back so far has gotten in.. ughh. I don't know what to think. But I will just have to take this one day at a time. I am so confused. It is so early.. they couldn't have sent out all the decisions, could they? Are they trying to make us crazy?

I think they are trying to make us crazy... I checked the mail twice today, even though I know the mailman doesn't come twice. And the mail I got today was useless! I wanted to hurl the useless mail into the sea... like Gob. :(

Yeah. My mail was useless too! It is just unjust! I kept asking my mom over and over if she'd missed something. Anything. Even just a postcard or something. I got nothing regarding college. It just made it harder. At least yesterday I had two other acceptances to keep my mind off of Wesleyan. siiigh.

I believe it is too early for non-minority RD decision letters to be out. Almostmidnight 's acceptance is unusual and I apologize for the form of this question but are you caucasion or Asian. I believe some of our Asian friends got their letters. If the Ct. poster did not get a letter I don't think they came out yet. However if we have waited this long what's another week or so?

To answer both questions (I still need to finish reading all posts)

I'm in California and the postmarked date was March 16

Oh, and I'm caucasian

I don't really understand how Wesleyan is sending out its decisions either, but good luck to everyone here!

Where is john_wesley when he is needed? Did Wes really send its acceptances mid-March, and its rejections much later, leaving the latter group in the dark for several weeks? If so, pretty thoughtless.

No, they don't do it that way. I'm assuming since almostmidnight applied to three UC colleges that ze's a California resident. Wes will often ship both acceptances AND rejections earlier to western states. BTW, congrats to everyone so far. :)

Ah, a distinct lack of confidence in the US postal service. Thanks for the clarification JW.

That's really good to know. I was getting very anxious because I didn't receive anything today. Thanks johnwesley.

no mail from Wesleyan today either. And I live in CT.

As in, two or three days earlier, or two or three weeks earlier? Any idea?

is almostmidnight SURE she's caucasian?? :-P How come no one else has heard anything from them?

IMHO, a week to ten days earlier. This whole thread is one big anxiety magnet, I'm afraid. Chill (e-z 4 me 2 say, right?)

Nothing here in Philly area today.

maybe someone should just call the school.

I second banana, but I'm not doing it lol.

Judging from last year's acceptance thread on CC, some letters went out mid-March to URMs, athletes and perhaps some other people who fall into special categories. Everyone else seemed to get their letters the first week in April. I kind of doubt they've made huge changes in how they're doing it this year.
