<p>wow these kids even went and formed a group on facebook... one has over a hundred members. I can't wait until I'm at andover and beat them in everything.</p>

<p>Really? Making a thread expressing how “ashamed” you are of Exeter for these Facebook groups? All you did was make yourself look very strange and funny. Notice how in the member’s list everyone is an Exeter student? And how in the Wall all the posts are by Exeter students? This is very much a school spirit thing, the rivalry between Andover is part of tradition and without a doubt Andover students have groups of the same style. They don’t need you to defend them by randomly asserting yourself on the Wall of Exeter’s Facebook group. Why don’t you go join pro-Andover-anti-Exeter groups instead? You’ll be much more warmly received.</p>
<p>P.S. The last Wall post in that group was last summer. It’s not a big deal to anyone except you.</p>

<p>This is a public discussion forum. There are people here who attend/have attended all the different schools, or might be even a staff or faculty member. Respect for all schools, regardless of rivalry, is appreciated. :)</p>

<p>Wow, overreaction much? Andover and Exeter just have a traditional rivalry guys, no one (be it an alum, teacher, student, or otherwise) will be too offended.</p>
<p>A few years ago the Harvard Club in New York put up new plaques outside the Club which spelled Harvard “Havard”. The Times had some fun with it… These things happen.</p>

<p>I’m disappointed at my boys at Exeter water polo. They lost to Andover once this year. Ye gods, when I was there it was never even a close game. </p>
<p>By the way I got into both. We chant “safety school” at sports games for a reason.
