<p>im visiting this college tomorrow and am wonderiing if anyone has any tips or advice as to what specific sights of experiences i should see or undergo while here on my visit!! like certain areas of campus or local cafes and such that are interesting. thanks!</p>

2) Sit in on a class.
3) Get a dining & library pass.</p>

<p>Go to an info session, too. </p>

<p>There aren't a huge number of classes held on Fridays, and those that exist will probably be smaller due to the religious days this week. Ask someone in the Admissions office for suggestions.</p>

<p>Be sure to visit the Oriental Institute!</p>

<p>The one class I sat in on really vaulted Chicago from "random nerd hive" to "holy **** I want to go here".</p>

<p>Chicago is over rated and not that good. Ivy's are better.</p>

and look up the description:

<p>plan it ahead of time because you'll need time to find your way around. most classes are open to visitors, but try to go to a lecture instead of a discussion.</p>

<p>lakerskingdom, how about letting the OP decide for his or herself? Geez, don't give UChicago a bad rap just because it's not in some lame Northeastern athletic conference.</p>

<p>A lot of the Ivies are subpar, anyways. Some of them are even below UChicago on the rankings. :]</p>
