<p>For some unknown reason this entire thread dissapeared! So I'll set up a new one. I have no idea why the moderators deleted the old one - it wasn't offensive, it pertained to Hamilton, and it had a total of four posts! I'm more than a little angry. Anyway...for the real purpose of the thread.</p>

<p>Since Hamilton advertises itself as a school with a strong focus on writing, I was wondering how many other prospective students are interested in writing or becoming an author? I sent in as a supplement a 21,500 word novelette, a short vignette, and an assortment (eight) of my monthly book reviews from my school newspaper.</p>

<p>If there are any other writers out there, speak up!</p>

<p>It wasn't the moderator. It's an entire CC thing. They had to revert to the CC database on January 18th. Many threads/posts/new registrations were erased and will never return.</p>

<p>It's a featured discussion on the main page of CC and in the CC Forum Issues forum.</p>

<p>Hey! I am most certainly a writer....my high school even uses Hamilton's writing guides. I plan on joining the school newspaper (there are several), probably The Daily Bull. Maybe I'll see you on campus (if I get in :-))</p>
