Writer's block.

Having trouble getting ideas for my essay, any suggestions?

What's the prompt?

Same here.
Deadline's on Thursday,
and I still have an essay to write.

And I'm still wasting time on CC...

Gosh I have the same problem. Writer's block, essay due on thursday, and I'm only on the first paragraph! Agh. Basically, what I've been doing (it's helped a bit), is sitting at the computer all day and thinking about the prompt and my answers in my head. Just sit there and think it out in your head, and all at once it will spill out onto the page (or in this case, my Microsoft Word Doc,) in like a huge chunk. I've sat here and though and thought and then whaddddya know, out comes a paragraph. Hahah but now I'm stuck again. Meh. Oh well, hopefully another paragraph willl reveal itself soon! Best of luck to you! If it helps to know, you are definitely not the only one in your situation. There are many, many procrastinators out there.

Haha, kemmek, we're in the same situation. I'm completely stuck right now, after my third paragraph (well, after two mini-paragraphs and one full one). It's pretty sad, b/c I've been thinking and pondering and planning my essays for months, all the way back in november. Actually, I did draft a bunch of essays, but they were all bad, and I realized that they weren't topics of any real importance to me, so I trashed all of them.

SAME HERE. oh well I have two full days to think about them since I have no school tuesday or wednesday :)

I shall bestow awesomeness on you in a mere matter of seconds using my oh-so gorgeous glittery, SPARKLY wand. With this wand the ineffable pains of grasping for potential ideas will be CURED!

....

damn. nothing happened. XD

keep your hopes up. i honestly suggest staying up late at night, i think the clearest then.

OMG... you have no school tuesday OR wednesday. Soooooo god**** lucky.

OMG, I finally broke through my writer's block. Typing away like a speed demon right now. Thank GOD (even though I don't believe in him).

When I have writer's block, I put my itunes on shuffle, sit in my bed with a notebook and pen and write whatever comes to mind. It'll make your responses more candid, reflect more about you... and your butt won't hurt from sitting in chair for horus.

Wow, that's a great idea. Why did I never do that...

HEY i broke through mine too. my mom and dad just made me like, reallllly mad, and i came down here and my words just like flew out. hahahha yaaay. but i'm still not done. ah.

Congratulations. I still have to finish and edit my first essay. Lol, I started typing it a week ago and yet I'm still not done yet. Rather, the two I started today are already finished.. All I have to do now is read it out loud to myself, which can get pretty awkward, but you'll most likely spot every mistake you make.

YESSS!!! I finally understand what I myself am trying to say in my essay!!! And now, I can honestly say I've finished. Twenty-three different revisions later, I finally understand the fine details of what I was going through, and... Sorry, I'm really happy right now.
