<p>My writing was 69/80 with an 8 essay. How many MC wrongs does a 69/80 equate to? I think i want to have my scores verified.</p>

<p>That’s weird because i know that i certainly got 1 wrong, but i doubt i got 4. Maybe 2 at most. Do you think that score verification will be worth it?</p>
<p>^I don’t think it’s worth it. It’s not going to change your score or help you do better, unless you really believe you scored higher than that</p>
<p>well i got a 670. Let us say that i got 2 wrong instead of 4. What will the score raise to? I have a 710 from a previous test.</p>

what examples did you use on the essay? It won’t help now, but i’m just curious and sad that i couldn’t think of strong examples.</p>
<p>well I just want to point out that APUSH is a ridiculously useful class for learning things you can randomly throw off into SAT essays xD</p>
<p>I think a KEY point to a good essay is to condense your thesis. The topic was something along the lines of “is protecting the environment good or bad?” Most people would have a thesis like “it is good” or “it is bad.” I go a step further and say “it is good because ____.” In this case, I said that you can learn from the environment (I forgot the exact words).</p>
<p>first body = theodore roosevelt and john muir went hiking in yosemete and learned about the beauty of it and then advocated environmentalism and passed legislation</p>
<p>second body = huck finn in the book had practical knowledge of the environment so he could safely navigate down the mississipi and survive.</p>
<p>third body (a little bit twisted history) = eli whitney invented the cotton gin after he surveyed cotton plants and the invention helped southern economy prosper</p>
