Writing curve this time - very harsh.

Yeah, I checked today. On the June SAT 2006, I missed 3, omitted 0, for a score of 740 without the essay. On the Oct. SAT 2006, I missed 4, omitted 0, for a score of 700. Unless one question means 40, then the curve was very harsh this time.

Math, on the other hand, was more lenient. I missed 1 and still got 800.

CR curve was the same.

The curve is really confusing...too much gambling in SATs...
i took nov. one, hope the curve is not too crazy

For me, the writing curve has kept me at the exact same score every time...

April - 3 wrong, 1 omit, 11 essay = 730
June - 4 wrong, 0 omit, 11 essay = 730
Oct - 4 wrong, 0 omit, 11 essay = 730

so my 10 essay, 1 off from an 11 essay, results in a 20 point difference?
