Writing essay?

<p>Ok so I got my score back it was</p>

<p>32 composite</p>

<p>31 writing(just mulitple choice but I took writing too)
35 math
32 reading
29 science</p>

<p>If I did mediocre on the essay would it lower my 31 writing score?</p>

<p>and what if I did a little below average, would that drastically decrease it to like a 29 or something?</p>

<p>thanks cause Im liking the way my score looks now and I would be mad if it decreased.</p>

<p>ACT isn't like the SAT, it doesn't affect the composite at all. And colleges usually don't care about the "new" english score. They just look at the old score and the essay separately.</p>

<p>essay scores doesn't affect your composite score anyway so i wouldn't worry about it.</p>
