<p>I read on Georgetown's website that they do not consider the writing portion of the SAT. Why is that?</p>
<p>Because it is new and there is no track record yet that describes how these scores measure to applicants. In other words, what is the difference between a 650 to a 700 to a 750 to an 800. Georgetown is not the only school that does this.</p>
<p>Also, Georgetown admissions is traditional and doesn't like to change (there is still no online application for instance).</p>
