<p>I don't think 660 is "good enough", although I don't mean it's "bad". I'm a Korean senior, and I know that nine Korean seniors have 800 on writing, all aiming for HYP. International competition for HYP is real hectic, I'd say...</p>
<p>Oh, I have the same score 660. I'm from Vietnam. Where are you from? I don't know if that's high enough. But I read in the Harvard forum, if you have 2 scores of +750, and 1 score of +650, then you'll have, let's call it a realistic chance. But if you really feel uncertain, why not give it another chance? You still can retake it in Jan.</p>

<p>I'm Korean too. I got 740 on my writing and I was not satisfied. I would never be satisfied with 660. Look at the percentile...That's what matters. Try your best to get over 95% for all of your tests (unless an 800 is a 90% like Math2c and 92% for physics). </p>
<p>Retaking doesn't hurt. THey take the best scores. It's wrong for them to assume that you got "worse" by getting a lower score (which I know won't happen, right?) . Take it again.</p>
<p>BTW. I got 780 the second time.</p>
<p>Yeah, your score isnt bad, but when you're against all the other people going for HYP, you'd better take it again. Study hard!</p>

<p>How come you're all so high on your tests especially Verbal and English written? Are you going to an English private school in your country or what's going on here? I feel really dumm, getting only 630 on my verbal score. Ok, if English is not your first language, how did you prpare for the tests? Just curious.</p>
<p>yea my verbal is only 610.....i studied for it also.....i feel so dumb...there are so many international students with high verbal.........but my writing is 730!! which is good enough..</p>
