~~Writing Section~~

What was your essay question? Mine had a quote from Du Bois...anyone have that quotation?

what you guys get for number 29 on the writing. the one about the accountant helping the guy. i put e at first but changed it to d.

haha I remember that question...but I think I may have left it blank.

the accountant was tricky and it was E. It sounded really bad but there was not an error but it was horridly worded. I had Du Bois quote too.

and I think there were two answers for one of the writing section.
It was about a writer's life and descriptions and the obvious answer was D, but since life is singular it should be description of a life not descriptions

i had du bois too
that accountant one made me mad lol
i put e

I put D for the accountant one ... b/c it was talking about "to help" someone "by" better something ... I don't know .. but I thought it should've been "by using" or "through." I get too paranoid over these wordings

There was one that was like "...scientific research has shown" with "has shown" underlined and I didn't know if it was "has shown" or no error. lol

What was the essay prompt for the Du Bois one? I really hoped I did not misread the question that it asked.

I think I got 3 E's on that part... anyone else?

there wasn't an idiom error. it sounded awkward but it was grammatically correct.

I don't know if i had that one. BUt holy bajesus was writing eaaaaasy! Was it only me I mean I'm not saying that to be cocky but it seemedl ike all the answers were obvious--yeah like 10 of them you had to search and see if the "neither nor" came into play u know that kind of stuff, or the "three bosses consults me" that stupid stuff. But, ... does that mean that I prob got a ton wrong if i thought it was crazily easy? (i ate a lot of chocolate before i took the test so i focused a lot better!)

i think i got 3 e's.

as an amateur potter... wasn't it D? as they were? either that or no error

Is it important to take a job with more money or a fulfilling job..

something like that

what u guys put for the great gatsby one and something the one about union workers and the factory

i'm so jealous, you got a really good essay topic...
i got should people take responsbility in solving problems in teh community or nation? i said community... and the quotation included stuff about self-reliance and independence so i talked about thoreau and walden, even though he was reclusive. i think i did bad onn my essay thug

yeah i got the essay about people taking responsibility, and i also talked about thoreau.

I got the responsibility one as well.
Wrote about Rosa Parks, V for Vendetta (mistake???) and a personal experience.

i got relavitely essay prompt...

job satisfaction vs money recieved from job

uh i got 4 Es in the section, does that mean i missed one?

No Errors

1.potter
2.intervene/mediators thing
3.garlic research has shown
4.damn i forgot

Isn't the proper idiom, "interfere with," not interfere in
