<p>Hi. I'm a Junior in HS thinking forward to my applications next fall and I was wondering about supplements. As a writer and page editor for my high school's newspaper, I'm very interested in journalism. I want to show the colleges that I'm interested in that I do have this passion even if they do not offer specific journalism programs. My question is, would a writing sample be appropriate to submit in an art supplement? Like, would that be considered a portfolio? And also, is this something colleges would like to see, even if they don't have journalism programs? Thanks!</p>
