Wrong SAT2 Tests

My son is interested in the School of Computer Science. He took three SAT subject tests- Biology, Math2 and US History. Now, I see that CMU requires MATH and physics or chemistry for the school of computer science. At this point, I can't see him taking another subject test. Can he still apply or is it a waste of time without the physics or chemistry.
He took physics last year and is taking AP Physics this year. Thanks!

They ask for you to have a SATII in physics or chemistry, so you should have an SATII in physics and chemistry. Simple as that.

ssmom: Where did you read that?

They require one science and one math.

They prefer Chem or Physics, but they also accept Biology M as a test.

I know because I had the same problem: I read on the site that they’d accept Bio, so I took Bio, and then after I’d applied someone told me that they didn’t accept Bio.

So I called up the Admissions office and got that info.

Of course, at this point, I’ll probably not get in because of it, but they said they’d take it.

At the sleeping Bag Weekend I met a kid that took no SAT IIs.

I applied early to SCS and sent in Math1, biology and US history. I believe its 1 math and 1 science. I am 99.9% sure about that.

Seems pretty clear to me.

That admissions requirement site was just recently updated. As of November 1st, the Biology SAT II was still on the acceptable list.
