I've recently received my Cal Grant report and there are only two colleges listed on the report. I filled out the FAFSA for twelve colleges in total. First I submitted the fafsa for ten colleges and the I made corrections and resubmitted it for the other two colleges. Those two colleges are the ones that have appeared on the Cal Grant report. My question is, what about the other ten colleges? Will I not be able to receive cal grant for them?

You will, you just have to choose the school which you want to receive the Cal Grant for. For example, mine was set to a CSU, even though I haven’t heard from a UC, I plan on going to one. Once you decide on which school you’ll be attending, you can change your school of attendance on the Webgrants4students website, where you access your cal grant and see your Aid Report.

So I can change it later on regardless if it is on the list or not?

Yes. You can and are supposed to update your account on CSAC with the school you will actually be attending if it differs from the one that is listed. So long as the campus you are listing is one that is qualified to accept Cal Grant, you’re fine.

thanks guys, it really helped

Are all your schools in Calif? Cal grants are for instate schools only.

yes they are
