Wrote a poem for my essay?

I did the “what don’t you know” topic… the first couple lines had rhythm in my head so I just went with it for the rest of it… I think it turned out pretty good although kind of short around 300-350 words… Do you think this was too risky?

Whether or not it was, it’s over now. No one here read it so we can’t know.

As long as you didn’t go and try to be something your not, I think using verse instead of prose would at least get you some brownie points

I’m a current student and know of a couple of people who wrote poetry for their essays and are now attending Brown. Not too risky at all.

If you wrote a well written poem that describes you / stays on topic, then you’re fine. haha. it shows an artistic aspect of you

I did the same thing. Kinda wrote it on a whim since I couldn’t really explain what I wanted to say in a conventional essay. Mine was around 250 though :x

PM me, I would like to read it…I already applied.
