<p>Hi, I'm a senior attending an international high school. I have applied RD to Sam Fox School of Design. I was wondering how hard it is to get into that school. What's the most important thing to be accepted and how much do they look at the portfolio?</p>
<p>Hi, I got applied as well and got my acceptance letter a few days ago. How did you do?</p>
<p>I think my academic strength definitely helped, but considering it wasn’t that high (3.5ish GPA, 35 ACT) I think they look at the portfolio sincerely as well. I had an OK portfolio.
I visited them during a portfolio day in New York and the admissions director was there, and we exchanged a few emails. Other than that, I’m not much different from others.</p>

Hey, I got an acceptance letter as well! My GPA is pretty similar to yours and my portfolio was pretty okay. I have not decided if I am going to attend WashU though. I am still waiting for other decisions like RISD, UCLA, and NYU. Congrats for getting in! :)</p>
